Lee Enfield .303 MK1 WWII Sniper Rifle W/OXF and BUCKS Transit Case

This is a very interesting and sought after WWII Lee Enfield MK1 sniper rifle. It is in beautiful condition and has correct markings including the "TR" stamped 1944 receiver. It is the real deal and not a homemade copy. It is supplied with the pictured transport case. The case is a story all it's own. If you look closely you will see it is marked "OXF BUCKS" which stands Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. They were a British Army unit active from 1881 to 1958 and quite famous for their exploits in both World Wars serving on all fronts. The rifle comes with the case, sling and scope mounts but no scope or tool kit. It functions smoothly and has a clean bore, finish and furniture.
